I adore this collar for my Labradoodle. Its range is impressive, and the beep is loud and clear, making it easy for me to hear. The only downside is the charger. Unlike other training collars I've bought, this one has a different charging plug for the transmitter and receiverone uses USB-C, while the other uses a pin-style plug. This discrepancy is why I deducted one star. Overall, I would still highly recommend this unit, especially if you have an active dog or need help with training.
Purchased this to train mydog to stop lunging at other dogs or fence fighting. We use the beep for positive reinforcement, vibration to correct unwanted behavior, and shock at level 5 for emergencies. She's responded remarkably well, showing significant improvement within just a month!
Before putting it on my pooch, I tested its strength with the silicone caps provided, covering the contact points. I tried a shock at level 10 in my handit was a light jolt, nothing too intimidating. The shock levels range from 01 to 99, vibration from 01 to 16, and beep settings from H1 to H8. I appreciate having the three settings of beep, vibration, and last-resort shock. However, I'm not a fan of the collar design for my 90lb German Shepherd. It seems like it might become too loose on him, especially with his thick coat requiring a snug fit to penetrate. Overall, the product seems decently made, though it's worth noting it was manufactured across the Pacific. The collar appears to be water-resistant, but the remote is definitely not.
