At first, my dog was scared of this pool. If this is your dog's first time using a kiddie pool, I would not suggest this product. My 45-pound dog was very nervous about climbing over the walls as they are a little high. I gave it to my friend's dog who loves laying in pools, and their dog loved it. She told me it was easy to drain with the plug on the side and simple to fold up and put away for the winter months. It has become their go-to pool for cooling off in the summer.
This is the best pool I have ever gotten for my grandkids! It's durable and easy to set up. They love playing in it, and it’s also easy to drain and store away when not in use. Highly recommend for families with kids and pets.
I've only used this pool twice but feel I've already gotten my money's worth. We set it up for our dogs on Memorial weekend while everyone was hanging out outside in the south Texas heat and they loved it. The 48x12in size was big enough for two German Shepherds. The material was thicker than I anticipated and stood up to scratching and repeated jumping in and out. The drain plug is a nice feature, allowing easy drainage. Once empty, it folds up for convenient storage.
I live in west Texas and our summers get HOT. Three weeks ago, I started fostering a GSD mix named Mugs, and he's possibly part Australian Kelpie — a bouncy little guy. Since he needs lots of exercise, I decided to check if he likes the water. As you can see, he does. Setup was super easy, and emptying it was a breeze. Mugs loves hopping in and out of the water as part of his backyard zoomies or just enjoying the water on his feet. I really like that it folds up.
I never leave reviews but my goodness, this has been the greatest purchase of the summer! My 4-year-old is obsessed with the pool, tub, and water in general. It takes only 15 minutes to get to my mom's pool, so just stepping onto our back porch is amazing! I put a monitor out there and can watch while I am cleaning or laying out in the sun without a crowd. This is 100% a buy it right now, you will not regret it.
